Spread the Word to End the Word t-shirt sales are going on now. Orders must be received by the Blue Valley West school office by 1/23/15. Spread the Word to End the Word is an ongoing effort by Special Olympics to inspire respect and acceptance through raising awareness about the use of the R-word. This effort in the Blue Valley School District is sponsored by the Blue Valley Special Education Advisory Council. Order a t-shirt for $8. The middle school or high school with the most sales will win a Virtue traveling trophy (RESPECT is the virtue), be recognized on the district social media outlets, and be the school to present the donation to Special Olympics on behalf of the Blue Valley School District. Students are welcome to by T-shirts and wear them on March 4 the national Spread the Word to End the Word Day.
