This is it, the final quarter of high school for us. For most it is a time of partying and excitement for finishing the rest of the treacherous school years and the graduation to start of in the world of the college.
While it is a time to rejoice it is also a time to crack down on studies and work. To have our last exams and to leave an astounding legacy that others can look up to for future reference. This regrettably is usually a time for seniors to become lax in their studies and fall hard to rock bottom. We should not succumb to the infection that takes hold of the senior class every year.
Seniors need to leave behind a legacy is not just of partying but also strong in the academics and sports that our school has been known for. To fight off the disease and finish strong academically would be an achievement that could be remembered as a legacy worth recalling for not the seniors enjoying the final year but also the teachers proud that we held on for the entire year.
I’m not saying to be completely studious. Enjoy the last moments of our high school year party and hang out with your friends. But, seniors have been notorious for catching Senioritse and we should leave something that is beyond what the previous classes have done. To leave behind the strength that we have upheld for the years academically is something that would be memorable and an example for student and teachers alike. Be a legacy worth remembering for our school. Be a jaguar.
