Missouri is leaving the Big 12. This could be the worst decision ever made for Missouri. In football, they will get murdered the SEC is a power house in football teams like LSU and Alabama, who won the National title game, and these teams will stomp all over Missouri. They were pretty good in the Big 12 with a record of 5-4 in conference, and 8-5 overall. In the SEC West Division, that would be similar to fourth or fifth place, and when a team is that far done no one will take them seriously or possibly not make the bowl games.
Why would Missouri leave the Big 12 with the season they are having right now?
In basketball, they are ranked in the top 10 schools. At one point during the season, they were ranked number 3. They beat Kansas at Allen Fieldhouse, and then later gave Kansas a run for their money in the final Border Showdown, finishing in overtime 87 to 86. Missouri in the SEC will not be one of the best teams like they are in the Big 12. All I can say is good luck, Missouri. Don’t let your fans come crying back when you are terrible in the SEC.
