Coming together in their last Leadership Circle, JPCo 9.0 prepares for the last assembly. The group planned each of the eight spirit assemblies held throughout the school year. “It’s so weird to think of the seniors being gone,” junior Izzy Watkins said. “They are so spirited and supportive of everyone. They will be missed.”

With the trophy held high, sophomore Fletcher Turner enters the April 23 assembly with the other members of the Job Olympics team. The group earned a second place finish at the competition on March 28. Students earned 15 medals competing against 12 other schools. The student body gave their peers a standing ovation.

Performing their spring routine, junior Chelsea Park and sophomore Jillian Dunley show off their flag twirling skills in their new costumes on April 23. The guard incorporated wooden rifles and swords, as well as flags, to “ooohs” and “aaahs” from the crowd. “Performing for the school is really scary but also really rewarding,” Park said.

Passing down their drum and mallets for The Chant, seniors Tommy Sulentic and Jack Mahoney share some love with juniors Jackson Shaeffer and Will Hudler. The seniors brought The Chant to games and assemblies after seeing it used by fans of the Icelandic World Cup team. “I just love those guys,” Schaeffer said. “They’re Jaguars.”
