Sweetheart Week concluded Sat. night, Jan. 30 at the Harry Potter themed dance. Hundreds of students entered Platform 9 3/4 and were awed by floating candles, a Hogwarts mural and a perfectly decorated refreshment table. A DJ played the hits of the day so that students could dab, nae-nae, whip and stanky-leg. Students lined up at the photo booth with their dates and friends to capture memories of the special night. Senior Carter Bryant was crowned Sweetheart King by Queen Paige Becker who had been crowned during the basketball game the previous evening.

The dance was the culmination of a week’s worth of activities including themes for each school day and a raucous assembly. JPCo and STUCO organized and facilitated all of the activities on behalf of the student body.
