Boys Basketball Wins EKL Contest Feb. 3

The first of two home games during Spirit Week pitted the Jaguars against the Gardner-Edgerton Trailblazers.

Coach Donnie Campbell lead his team to a victory against the visiting Trailblazers from Gardner-Edgerton on Feb. 3 with a score of 61-47.  The EKL bout lifted the Jaguars to a record of eight wins and five losses and third place in the league.

The Jags came to play on Tuesday night and began with a first quarter run of 13-6.  A second quarter drought was easily corrected with 23 points in the third quarter.  The fourth quarter saw the Jags outscoring the Trailblazers 18-25.

Next up for the Jags are the Bishop Miege Stags that currently have an impressive 10-2 record.
