Senior Picnic-A Sunny Tradition
May 10, 2016
The Class of 2016 began a week of traditions and rites of passage with the Senior Picnic on Friday, May 6. The annual event was held at Black Bob Park.
The sparkling spring morning began with a bagel breakfast provided by the PTO. By 9:30 a.m. teacher and yearbook adviser, Deborah Glenn, had arrived with the staff and a van full of books for the senior class.
Dressed in gear from their future colleges, the seniors spent hours signing each others yearbooks, playing outdoor games, listening to senior Jack Ingram perform his original music. The event ended with a bar-b-que lunch, also provided by the PTO.
The following week the Class of 2016 would take their final exams, open their time capsules and participate in Class Day and graduation.
